Terms

These terms cover use of Tappo by a venue. Questions go to hello@tappo.ch.

The service

Tappo lets a venue design a stamp card, let guests add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and stamp it at the counter. Plans and what each plan includes are listed on the pricing section of the site.

The venue's reward

The venue chooses the reward and the stamp rule, and is responsible for honouring them. Guests join by adding the pass. They do not buy the reward from Tappo.

The subscription

Paid plans are billed in Swiss francs through Stripe, monthly or yearly at 20% off. Prices exclude VAT. Swiss VAT is added on the invoice where it applies. A venue that has not subscribed before can start with 14 days free. Stripe collects a payment method at checkout, and the chosen price starts when the trial ends unless the venue cancels before then. After signing in, the venue can change plan, switch between monthly and yearly, cancel, and open invoices from the billing page. A move to a lower plan, a switch from yearly to monthly, or a cancellation, takes effect at the end of the period already paid. A move to a higher plan, or from monthly to yearly, is charged for the rest of the current period. A live card needs an active subscription.

The counter QR and the first tap point are included on Starter and Pro. During a free trial the tap point ships once the first payment succeeds. A tap point that was paid for, or already sent, stays with the venue. Another tap point is a one-time charge. Starter includes 3 scanner accounts. Pro does not cap them.

Acceptable use

The venue will not use the pass to mislead guests, or to contact people who have not added the card. Staff accounts are for people who work at the venue.

Tap points and passes

The tap point and the loyalty pass are tools the venue uses with its own guests. The venue decides the reward, the stamp rule, the text and images on the pass, the messages, and how staff use the tap point. That use, and the promise the venue makes to a guest, belong to the venue alone. Tappo is not a party to it.

Tappo is not liable for anything the venue, its staff, or anyone using the venue's account does with a tap point or a loyalty pass. That includes the reward, a stamp or a redemption, the content of the pass, a message to a guest, a review, and any offer, claim, or harm that follows from that use.

The venue keeps Tappo free of claims by guests or anyone else that arise from that use.

This does not exclude liability for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that Swiss law does not allow to be excluded.
